decent but screen has issues
The listing said fair condition and that's accurate. Phone powers on fine, but the screen has a dead zone on the left side — doesn't respond to touches in that area. Battery life isn't great either, maybe 4 hours of actual use. Works most of the time but that screen problem is frustrating. Warranty's supposed to cover it but I haven't had time to deal with it yet.
battery died after two weeks
Recieved the phone in excellent condition like the listing said. Screen looked perfect, no scratches. Problem is the battery won't hold a charge past 60% now. Started after about two weeks of normal use. The 32-point inspection they mention apparently missed this. Still under warranty but the hassle of sending it back defeats the purpose of saving money versus buying new.
works fine but battery concerns me
The phone arrived in excellent shape—really impressed with the inspection they do. Runs smooth, display looks great. My only real issue is the battery's sitting around 82%, which is lower than I expected for "excellent" condition. It still gets me through a day, but I'm wondering how long it'll last. Good price compared to buying new, at least.
decent phone, minor scratches
Got this knowing it'd have some wear since I picked Fair condition. Screen works great, no dead pixels. There's a couple small scratches on the back but nothing that bothers me. Battery seems solid so far.
works fine, looks used
Phone functions well enough but I'm realizing the "fair" condition label undersells how beat up it actually is. There's a noticeable dent on the corner and the screen has a few light scratches. It still works, battery's okay, but I expected better cosmetics for the price. Not terrible, just not what I was hoping for.
does what i need it to do
Has a few visible marks from use but nothing that affects how it works. The Velvet's a solid phone—good size, decent processor, camera's fine. I was nervous about buying refurbished for the first time but the warranty reassured me. No regrets so far.
mixed bag so far
Been using this for about three weeks. The Velvet is nice to hold and the display looks good when it works. Battery drains faster than expected though — I'm getting maybe 5 hours a day with moderate use. There are visible scratches on the back but I knew that going in with the fair rating. Performance is fine, no crashes, but the battery drain is annoying enough that I'm not thrilled.
nice phone, delivery took longer
Got the LG Velvet in good condition like described. Screen's clean, no major marks. Only thing is it took 3 days to arrive instead of the promised 24 hours, which was disappointing. Otherwise works great and the warranty gives me peace of mind.
fair condition but reliable
Was nervous buying pre-owned for the first time but this has been solid. Few cosmetic marks on the body, nothing on the screen though. It's been a month and the phone still runs smooth. Better deal than I expected for Fair condition.
reliable phone, good value
Bought this in good condition and that's pretty much what I got. Couple minor cosmetic marks but nothing that bothers me. Battery's at 87%, screen is clear. It's a solid Android device, fast enough for my needs. Not fancy but it does what I need it to do, and I paid way less than a new phone would cost.
