no issues after two months
Was nervous about my first pre-owned phone purchase but BestMobileCanada's inspection process seems legit. 256GB version arrived in good shape, no dead pixels, camera works as expected. The warranty gives peace of mind even though I haven't needed it. happy with the value.
battery died after two weeks
Arrived in good physical condition like the listing said, but the battery health was way lower than advertised. Got maybe 4 hours of use before it shut down completely. Tried charging multiple times—nothing. Contacted support and they took forever to process the warranty claim. Frustrating because everything else about the phone seemed fine.
battery died within weeks
I ordered the 128GB in excellent condition and expected better. Phone arrived looking pristine, but the battery started dropping to 20% by mid-afternoon within the first month. The listing said 92% health but it's definitely not holding that. Asked support about the warranty and got a runaround. Disappointed because the phone itself felt solid otherwise.
pretty solid, minor screen issue
Been using this for about a month now. The phone is fast, camera quality is really good, and the battery gets me through a full day without stressing. There's a small hairline scratch on the top edge of the screen that I noticed after a week—it doesn't affect functionality and was probably just missed during the inspection. For the price point, can't complain much.
works fine but not flawless
The phone runs well enough and does what I need it to do. Display and performance are solid. That said, there are some light scratches on the frame that weren't super obvious in the photos, and the charger wasn't included even though the listing said fair condition usually comes with basics. Still usable, just feels like something was off with the listing.
decent phone, solid price
Picked up the 128GB A53 in good condition and it's been reliable so far. Screen looks clean, battery holds up through a full day. For the price compared to buying new, this was the right call.
nice phone, shipping took longer
The Galaxy A53 is a solid device—screen looks great, performance is snappy, and I haven't had any issues with it. Battery life is decent too. Only thing that bugged me was it took 3 days to arrive instead of the promised 24 hours, and it came without a USB cable. Still happy with it overall though.
good phone, battery drains faster now
Phone itself is in excellent condition like they said, screen looks pristine and no scratches on the back. But the battery only holds about 78% of what it should be after a few months of use. For the price I paid it's still decent, just not as good as buying new would've been.
works fine, but the screen
The phone works and all the features are there. Battery lasts most of a day if I'm not heavy on it. My main gripe is the screen has some weird spots in the corners—not listed in the 32-point inspection report they mentioned. For a fair condition unit I expected a few marks but this is noticeable. It still functions so I'm keeping it, just not thrilled.
solid mid-range option
Picked this up as a backup phone and it does everything I need. Camera is decent, performance is smooth enough for day-to-day stuff. Screen shows its age with some light scratches but nothing that bothers me when using it. The 256GB storage is plenty. Only minor complaint is the charger wasn't in the box—would've been nice to have. Price felt reasonable compared to buying new.
