Expected some wear given it's fair condition and yep, there are visible marks on the edges and back. Doesn't bother me at all — I'm using a case anyway. Phone itself runs great, no lag, battery makes it through a full day. Got it for significantly less than the "excellent" versions and honestly the difference doesn't matter to me.
